IN the Greek Orthodox community of Corona, New York in 2005 17 individuals of the Greek Orthodox faith were excommunicated due to the fact they questioned the financial dealings being conducted by the priest. While there was a corporate resolution and decision was made that the case be refer to the District Attorney's Office for prosecution (Due to the apathy of the Greek Dioceses to act) that is when the God's of 79th street decided to take control by excommunicating 17 people,(including my self). We (myself and others)offered to pay for a forensic Audit just so the people in the community know what happened to the $500,000.00. Why was the priest forging the president of the parish signature? Why was the priest reimbursing himself by writing checks in his name? Why was the diocese refusing the forensic audit? What have we done against the Greek Orthodox Faith to be excommunicated? What are the steps of Excommunication in the Greek Orthodox Faith? Why in the "Church of God" were hidden microphones and video recorders? Why the priest kept an additional "poor Box" for Saint Nektarios and he was the only one who had a key? When the priest was traveling to Greece he was questioned By US Customs with regards to the Currency he was carrying(as he confessed to a Parish member).Bishop SAVVAS OF TROAS in his own words said" I am currently investigating the matter with the United States Customs and J.K...... of the Port Authority Police. Well we still waiting. I didn't realized that bishop SAVVAS had Investigative abilities and Access to Confidential Information. In my book, anyone who "illegally" access such information, there is a mandatory Jail sentence. (He Must Be a exception) What happened to these results? Why the diocese hired a armed security firm to enforce a temporary restraining order against elderly inside the church?
God bless our Spiritual leaders. They demonstrated their unethical and immoral intentions in order to hide the truth. I would like your response as I am willing to provide in details what took place.
